    Black Glass Bottle...New Diving Find

    Definitely British and most certainly from the 1880's -90's. I would say very likely a Liqueur by the shape, like, as mentioned like a Benedictine.

    I agree...many of these lids are being reproduced and you seriously have to suspect they are and prove they are genuine before you proceed to purchase. I saw a copy recently that was very hard to pick even with a trained eye
