Common bottles with local embossing sell like hotcakes. If you find piles of bottles embossed or labled with nearby towns or names, never chuck 'em. People will snatch that .50 bottle of yours and shell out 10 -15 bucks without a thought. Saw a guy at a flea market who had and old green coca...

New Spot

[:D] Found a new spot today. Actuall I found two! Here's what I pulled off the surface. The 2nd spot also has depression glass platter and bowl pieces. Oh yeah, there's also has a 2' round well filled to within a foot of the top. Where's me shovel??

Today's finds

Spend a few hours digging today. Went to a couple of places. Ended up digging in the coal ash beneath a vacant church down the street. Found a few bottles, lots of pieces. Check out this ink and the medicine. Anyone willing to balpark the age of the ink. Very uneven, out of round, with...

Hi everyone!

I think I found my new home. Stumbled on the forum by accident. Serendipity abound. Please allow me to jump right in. I have found several sites, pulling stuff from each. One of the latest turned out to be a city dump from the '20's. I heard about it from a co-worker and ran to check it out...
