Thank you! It was a bit of work, but worth it.

    Curio Cabinet Display Question

When I designed and built my display shelves, I had 1/4" thick glass shelves made for it. I Gorilla-glued the metal supporting tabs into the wood, then also used silicon gel to affix the shelves to the metal tabs. So far, I've had no problems with the shelves beng loaded (going on 8 years now).

    Rock Dumps Are A Pain!

Was that an upside down boat that you were swimming around near the end of the video?

    RARE BOTTLE (?)

It said the listing ended because "there was an error in the listing", which usually means the seller accepted an offer. I would guess that it sold for more than $50.

Plate of pontiled criers from the untouched city dump. Hoping to go back this weekend.

There are apparently none known to exist intact. Woodward's Universal (Cough?) Tonic from Middletown, CT. It's not embossed with the town, but Mr. Woodward owned a drug store (the bottles of which were also found here) and manufacturered this in Middletown. Wow, that's great! Sure never heard...

    Just a thought.

There's a great book written by one of the hunters that discovered the Arabia. It's called Treasure In A Cornfield and is by Greg Hawley. Mike

    Iron pontils

I apply a bead of Silicon to the area I want protected. Usually stays on during the tumbling and peels off pretty easily.

    Sweet and sour dive

Man, what a heart-breaker. I have a Skinner in Emerald, and I've seen them in yellow-olive, but never one in that deep Stoddard amber. Awesome find!

Looking for any info on this Magnetic Aether op bottle.

HI, I keep a fairly detailed excel spreadsheet of bottle sales from E-Bay & the major auction sites from the past 10 years. I only have 2 entries for your bottle, and both were labelled examples, but this should give you a feel for the value of yours. I also pasted the listing from Holst...

    Recent finds,looking for info.....

Great finds. The Rattler Oil, in particular, is desirable. In my personal data base, I have 3 examples of the 4 3/4" size selling, between 2009 & 2014 (E-Bay & Glass Works), for $40 to $100, with a single 3 1/2" example selling in on E-Bay in 2015 for $146. The Stafford's Ink usually sells...

is this rare? Lawrence's Carminitive - Pontiled and labeled

Absolutely right. I only have one middle-sized one in my data-base, an example Mike George sold on E-Bay for $638.91. Unlisted and tough to acquire.

is this rare? Lawrence's Carminitive - Pontiled and labeled

Hi, I keep a data-base of bottle sales (that interest me) from E-Bay and the major US auction houses. I have one of these selling for $54 on E-Bay 7-10-11 and another one selling for $500 on E-Bay on 3-22-18. Quite a disparity in the prices, but the expensive one was supposedly found in the...
