Hello Roy,
Nope nothing on the bottom. I have never seen such a bottle in the past either, this one is stumping me! I think the key to this puzzle is deciphering the signature on the metal ring, however all the guesses I've made yielded no results yet.
I pulled out a couple of these from a hole that turns up mostly 1870s thru 1890s bottles. It's a stoneware bottle that is a very special light blue color. It's about 4.5" tall. One of these had part of metal ring which has embossed on it : GUARANTEED GENUINE, then a signature that I cannot...
Hello,
Wondering if anyone knows something about this bottle?
3.25" tall round amber bottle with a beautiful embossed crest shaped logo "VALOR"
Nothing on the base
Found in Quebec, Canada. But something tells me it's not local. Possibly american or european made?
Hello!
This canadian bottle is very common, we find it all the time but the one I've found seems to have a spelling mistake on it! "Electric" instead of "Eclectric".
Have you seen this variant before?
I dug a pretty nice dump while I was on vacation. In fact, it's probably the best dump I've dug.
You can view all of the finds here : http://imgur.com/a/0LCOQ
But here the absolutely best finds : two ginger beer bottles from Quebec with a superb embossing!
I dug some american bottles too...
Maple leaves do have 5 points. Here's a sugar maple leaf
In comparison, some vine leaves :
Both these leaves have a similar structure and the embossed pattern is probably not entirely accurate so honestly, it's hard to tell. The difference I can see is that on the embossed leaves, the lower 2...
Thanks for your replies.
Actually, it's hard to tell if they are maple or vine leaves. But I didn't even think of vine leaves in the first place so thanks for pointing me in that direction. The shape of the bottle does look like a lime juice bottle but I didn't find this exact one on Google...
Hello, I've found these two bottles in a dump in southern Quebec. They are 12.5 inches tall and they have maple leaves embossed all over them. They also have a very light amethyst shade. My best guess is maple syrup. Has anyone seen these before and know more info about them?
Thanks!
Hello!
I have these five objects which I am unable to identify.
I found them over the summer while digging in old dumps for bottles.
Here's a video.
