If anything were to pop up with Barqs Bros on it it could be potentially be worth thousands of dollars. So far, no one has seen anything. As for the term "Orangine" I'm guessing it was not a patented name or it was like the word "cola" a term that could be used by everyone. I've seen way too...
Barq's bottled Root Beer but a multitude of flavored sodas in Minneapolis & St. Paul. The flavors like Orangeade, California Orange, strawberry, Lemon Lime, etc etc, would have gone in this bottle. Came in a 7oz and 10oz size. the 7oz is the hardest to find. Baton Rouge, LA also used the 7oz...
I found one newspaper ad advertising 32oz bottles for .27 cents each in 1949. This bottle is dated 1959 so that's least 10 years they were in business. Any idea if this bottle is common? Value?
Thanks

I live 30 minutes from Gulfport and the only Orange Crush bottle I have seen from there was a Dr. Wright Root Beer bottled by Orange Crush in Gulfport. I've never seen any other bottles. We found the same Wright Root Beer bottle at the same time and it too was from Gulfport but it said bottled...
A Corpus Christi Texas Barq's Moon Glo if I could ever get my hands on one. A guy found a case of them a couple of years ago. Sold a few on ebay for $50 each and then disappeared.
There is probably a dozen or so close to $100. Maybe Chinese and Japanese buyers are starting to collect. You'd think with a billion people living in China, Chinese coke bottles would be common. Go look under completed auctions at "Chinese Coke Bottle" "Chinese Coca Cola Bottle" "Japanese Coke...
