    Can't seem to find another example of this bottle on the internet. Has the letter I and numbers 18 and either 16 or 91 on bottom with stippling. Any ideas to what it is?

    Cross bottle mark on bottom of 1858 patent mason jar

    I found a 1858 patent mason jar with a cross on the bottom. I think it is quart size. It has a ground lip, which I think means pre 1900? I can't seem to find any info on the cross though. Most seem to have numbers. Any thoughts?

    I have a clear bottle, probably 8 or 9 ounce size, that has the Owens Illinois diamond/oval/I symbol and the number 3 on left of symbol and 9 on right of symbol. I've discovered the 3 is the fairmont,WV plant number and the 9 means 1929 or 1939. I have attached pics as well. I would like to find...
