Found this old 1800's pottery bottle with cobalt blue and stamp sticking out of river bank

Thanks for the helpful information. I know the cobalt blue slip on the shoulder and stamp make it more exceptional. Still stumped as to the value though. Can't find this specific one anywhere online or in pottery bottle books. I'm guessing it was used in the earliest days of Dennis J...

Found this old 1800's pottery bottle with cobalt blue and stamp sticking out of river bank

This is a nice 1860's to 1880's cobalt blue paint accented slip glazed beverage(ginger beer?) bottle found sticking out of a vertical river bank in upstate NY. Just part of the side and bottom was revealed. It took some time but managed to exhume the beast without damaging it. I was wondering...
