What can I use to make the embossing stand out and not disappear over time?

On some bottles I have traced the lettering with a Sharpie. Over time I note the ink/marker disappears and the embossing is like it was originally. Can anyone here recommend a type of marker that will not fade with time?

Very odd RRR bottle - anyone know specifics about RRRs? Asking for research help.

Its been a long time since I posted anything here. Originally I had asked about a purple RRR bottle I got off of eBay. That was in 2015. I have had eBay alert me every day since that time to all RRR bottles being posted for sale. Besides the pontilled ones, only the typical common aqua RRRs...

    Help with an iron pontil

I was wondering if anyone might be able to help me on a value on this Dr. Van Vleck. I am looking to set up a trade with another collector friend of mine who fell in love with it when he saw it on my shelf. We both want to make a legitimate trade. No damage and normal aqua. Thanks for any help.
