400 to 500 jar lot purchase

Thank you for some in sight on this. The guy did say there was some antique food in some of them. I do have storage for this buy if it goes through. Can't wait to see what's there. Was talking to my close friend this morning and told him about what I might need help on and he says good when we...

400 to 500 jar lot purchase

So I was talking to a guy I have known for a few years and long story short he had bought an old farmhouse last year and has been cleaning it out slowly. During talk somehow it came up about me collecting things and I told him I am all about Mason jars and bottles. He says that when he got into...

Is there anyone out there in jar land that has a spare Christmas Mason jar they would like to part with? Have seen one and by mistake I let it go. Thanks for any help.

Looking for New Hampshire digging partner

Nice, some guy bought up all the land around Palermo and including the rice mine. He seems to be fine with people poking around as long as you respect the land. At first he posted the whole thing as no trespassing and locals did not take kindly to that and I guess he clarified his intent and...

Looking for New Hampshire digging partner

Valencia but I have dug at all of them. As far as minerals go I am still pulling good stuff out. Have to go deep. For digging at the mines its a norm for me to go 6+ feet deep to hit the old layers.. Most that dig now just scratch the surface. I know I will have to adjust for digging bottles...

Looking for New Hampshire digging partner

Sounds great. I dig at a mica mine in Groton and found a newer dump of bottles by mistake. Nothing great but I know this mine was in operation from mid 1800's so there is a Honey hole somewhere there. I will try and reach out to blackglass also. Thanks

Looking for New Hampshire digging partner

Looking for New Hampshire digging partner. I'm located in lakes region and have never dug in NH. I have been digging in old mine dumps for the past 5 years in search of minerals. Time to bet back into bottles.

Need help finding Putitan jar lid and clamp

Thank you for the info. I did see one sold on eBay from a local digger in New Hampshire not far from me in 2007 for $22.00. In a few days I will dig out the jar and post a pic. One upside was the top that came with it I have never seen and it was held on with what I believe is a milville...

Hello, I know this is a long shot but I have just acquired a puritan fruit jar and it came with the wrong lid. I would like to find at least the lid as I know the clamp and twist are a super long shot
