I'm not sure this bottle dates before 1900? I find many references to the Hoster Brewery, but nothing about their Bottling Co. Nor, so far, have I found an example of a bottle, similar to the one pictured below, made by the Hoster Co. Any information/comments would be helpful and appreciated.
This bottle was given to my Dad. Since it was not found by him, I would like some confirmation of its authenticity. It was allegedly recovered from a 1790 shipwreck. What say you?

I suppose it is! I suspect that if the bottle was here, it may not have made it through the storm. However, I still have many (very muddy) bottles to sort through, so we may have the bottle too. Thank you for this information!
