    Yes, it runs from the bottom edge, to almost the top, stopping about 1/4 in from the top. Held up to the light, both bottles are dark brown as in a beer bottle but darker.

    It's a Red Seal Bottling Wks Fitchburg Mass bottle, but I can't seem to find much info on the company. I'm pretty new to bottle identifying, so any help would be appreciated.
