Type of Stopper for early Pabst bottle?

A somewhat common (late 1890's?) Pabst beer bottle as far as early Pabst bottles go. The top sort of looks to me like a cross between a blob and a crown. Curious as to what type of stopper was used for this specific bottle, what the stopper was called ,or even a picture of one if available...

    Any idea what this is?

Curious as to what this non bottle oddity is from a previous dump dig. The dump dates mostly from the 1890's to 1920's. Appears to possibly be something for squeezing the juice out of something. If so , squeeze the juice out of what?

Blob Top Miller Bee With Contents -It's Value?

A bottle collecting buddy of mine insists this Miller blob bottle be included in multi bottle swap we are working on. Am a bit reluctant to include it in the swap, but "might" do so depending on it's worth. Am having no luck so far finding out it's fair value. If anyone here may know it would...

Questions about Canning jar recently dug.

Dump has been yielding a bunch of canning jars recently , know little about most , and not really my specialty. I do not have a Redbook and have a few questions on one. Wondering it's value. And is the indentation on the bottom a pontil, or just some type of indentation only? Jar is...

A bit surprisingly I have found no info yet on a Pabst Beer blob top recently dug . No idea if it is considered common, rare,it's worth, etc, . Any info, opinions,or able to point me to a site with more info would be appreciated. The bottle is clear, embossed with Pabst - Milwaukee and an...

Yesterdays Dig - Worthless Neat Stuff - Plus 4 Keepers

Kind of an odd dig yesterday which seemed to turn up more "artifacts" than bottles from an 1890's to mostly 1920's dump. Among the oddities were 4 various size things (clocks?) with gears,a shaving brush handle, watch, atomizer, little crock, local token, watch, and insurance advertising trade card...

    Prized Possession is Badly Cracked

My best find, dump dig,and possession this year may barely be worth it's weight in glass .Nevertheless I absolutely love it. Reasons are my liking of things from Cedar Rapids Iowa breweries and bottling works in general. Anything from the Shaw Bottling Works can be a bit tough to come by. And at...

    Crystal Canning or Milk Jar

Am finding very little info on the net regarding this jar I dug and would consider selling. Have found only one article suggesting it could have been either a milk or canning jar. It is whittled a bit, aqua, marked "Crystal" only on the front. The bottom has 2 different patent dates. Nov 26-67...
