Ok thanks. Will look up that name. Something interesting to me is that this jar was used for canning. Its got alot of bubbles in the glass. Wouldnt that explode during the canning process?
Another puzzle piece thats gonna drive me insane if I dont find out more....
Can anyone help me figure out what kind of bottle or jar this is? I assume canning jar of some type, but "YZEE" and "MPRO" doesnt ring bells. I'm assuming the "mpro" is part of "improved".
Oh thank you. This one was driving me insane out of curiosity. I thought squibb at first, but then that didnt match up. Using broken pieces in a craft project and saw it. Time line is spot on for the junk pile.
Thanks again.
It did it again....I had a whole question thing with description and then lost it when i loaded the pic.
Oh well, just curious about this makers mark. Can anyone tell me who it is? Partial of a weight scale with the number 8 centered above it.
I typed in a whole description and question...then lost it...now I'm trying again.
Found about 6 of these in with the broken bottles, dishws, and crocks of my familys home that burned in 1936. They are blue glass, about 7 inches long, and big around as a soda straw. Slight bulbing at one...
Yep. She thinks in the late 80's, but guess she was wondering where from. The FIL liked to travel and camp, but have no idea where it came from. Also, wondering value....should she put it in the safe, or let the granddaughter use it for dolls genie bottle.
Me again guys....i have a pic of a bottle that my sister has. She lives in michigan and was given this from her father in laws estate. Can you guys give some info and value?
Oh thank you. Those dates add up because one of the first couple jars had a zinc lid on it with a hand written number 50 on it. Didnt think it was the price! That would have been very expensive back then. The date of 1950 sounds more like it. Thanks again.
Hi , i need help identifying some canning items found in a family members cellar.
In the pics, left to right, diamond pattern jar, fluted side jar, hash marked top and bottom jar, green juice/water jar, and presto canning jar. I would like to know what they geld if possible, and dates...
Thanks leon, thats what i was thinking. Condiment of some kind....just didnt know which. The are hard to clean in smaller sizes, but sell well for $1 each because of their unusual shape.
I've quit for the season. Too many young snakes dug out and shoved out og the way....poison ivy on both legs and hands ...and mosquitoes. Not to mention all the turjey hunters. Done till dry season at least. August or sept.
