Nazareth, Pa Creamery and Dairy bottle

Found a half pint today. Really odd to find one of these near here. Anyone know anything about it?

    Daytona 500

Anyone else cringe at Waltrips interviews pre race? "Hey buddy, is that your buddy behind you? Are ya gonna hook up with your bud in front of ya? C ya buddy!" The Danica Patrick love fest is crazy. Nascar starts week #2

I agree with you. It seems to be more of an asking price then what they are getting. Your TH bottle looks older then the ones with writing IMO

The one I saw on ebay had pyro writing. Do you know what that one is worth?

    Milk Bottle w/ candle inside

I was seeing if the thin part would at least crack. I can't figure out what that stuff was (is it possible for lead based paints to get like that?) and had a lapse of judgement. I was originally worried that using a thinner, gas or vinegar would allow the substance to stain the bottle. I've...

    Milk Bottle w/ candle inside

I got it out! I hit it with a wooden spoon and the bottle broke in half [:D] The down side was that it was a pint bottle to go along with the Qt and 1/2 pint. I guess I better get back to digging. Thanks for the help

    Milk Bottle w/ candle inside

The hair dryer would have worked. However, I'm thinking it might be paint or something like that. Gas? Thinner? There is nothing on the bottle, just this solid stuff, like I described.

    I'll try it

    Milk Bottle w/ candle inside

It's pretty much just flat wax and it's loose (not sticking). I am puzzled here! I can post a picture if it helps..

    Back to the dump!!

Here are a few bottles... The Lauxmont is worth a few.. I found a lot of the typical medicine bottles and I think I'm close to the good stuff

I think it's cool finding those local bottles. Did he sell it? I'll try to post some local prohibition whiskey bottles when I get a chance.

Another solar company takes a hit

Solar still seems to be in somewhat early stages. I was happy to see we are brings back some nuclear plant (Georgia I believe approved 1st one since TMI accident). Being a welder hopeful it will eventually bring approvals and work up my way.

I disagree.... The rarest bottles are usually found near the town of origin. Meaning, Craley / East Prospect area will normally yield Lauxmont bottles. Today I scouted an area in Hellam Twp and found (broken) Flahartey Dairy bottles from Hellam. I think I would be more lost near the cities then...

Dump Digging... Milk Bottles or go deep?

I wish I could get a hold of a backhoe... But, it's not really feasible. Like most in our area could tell you, most dumps are in areas that were old quarries. So what you tend to find is a steep cliff or hill with tons of dirt and bottles. I found most of the dumps by asking a couple of older...
