After years of collecting, I was lucky enough to obtain my first local mini jug from a tiny town. Super happy about its condition too!

Nice, not sure how rare that one is but it’s definitely a scarce variant. There’s a Michigan Union brewing from Ann Arbor with a similar whiskey top and export neck. Nice Saginaw stuff though, I see some early early examples

Stoked to have this 1875 exactly beer, this is the first bottle from the prolific Grove Brewery of Ypsilanti who went on to become one of the largest brewing companies in Michigan history. You won’t see another and this type of text on the slug plate is very rare to see on any bottle from...
You know I have no idea what it would go for but truthfully in my experience anything that is listed as “city brewery” in general is typically from a smaller operation as opposed to something like a man’s name’s brewing company. The later variants are just Hubach’s Brewery it appears so this is...
No idea what this is worth but I do see there are many variations from this brewing company. This however is an early example based off the pictures examples online. No glass manufacturer but I’d guess this is probably late 1880’s early 1890’s. Any Ohio guys out there?

A “Pure and Without Drugs or Poison” slant-script private mold BIMAL crowntop variant exists. This proves this is the earliest variation because the brewery opened in 1906, same year as the act. Super stoked to have this

Scored this ultra rare crown top from the Manchester Brewing Company of Manchester, Michigan. This also exists in an aqua pint, which I know hemihampton has.

Yesterday my buddy James and I got permission to hit a 100+ year old barn. The owners were trying to rid themselves of everything in the barn so they could restore it and had no personal attachment to anything so they said take whatever you want. We climbed upstairs and to our surprise, there...
My ultra rare Ann Arbor Star Bottling Works, similar to the toledo hutch but nearly impossible to find in comparison. Real nice aqua, this was saved from a construction site in the heart of the old fourth ward of Ann Arbor which has fallen victim to the University of Michigan’s ever growing...
Extremely rare emerald green bottles from Ann Arbor. The top is the broken neck example of five known, the bottom is the only known large size and its pristine. Both dug in 1982 at the University Medical Dump. Large green was appraised at 800-1000, certainly my most expensive bottle.

Usually these are square pyro, but the round pyro is somewhat of a unicorn when it comes to milks from this dairy. Comes in all three standard sizes but I’ve yet to find a pint or half pint.

Real nice 1890’s Drs Jones & Clark from Ann Arbor, Michigan. Tiny 1oz size in a magnificent color. Certainly a tough drug store bottle from Michigan!

Thank you! Managed to somehow find all three in less than four months but it took a lot of networking to find who had these. Unfortunately to get the hay colored blob I had to trade a 1/1 oddball mineral water which I know I’ll never see again.

Completed the tough Harpst set from Ann Arbor this weekend as well. Very nice bottles as they’re all different colors. The aqua blob in the middle is definitely the rarest of the three, with hutch as a close second and the hay blob in third for scarcity. Added bonus is that they’re all mint or...
