The confuser here is the fleur de lis on top and bottom. Google searched and searched and have yet to see a pic of one just like it. Here is a closer enhance pic where you can really see it.- Jim B

Ok I posted on FB and searched the web best I know how. Some say this is a William Walton some say William Frank. What have I got here Came from Civil War Brandy Station Area Trash pit dig from the 1970's! I've been collecting bottles on and off for 40yrs..... never seen a bottle like this with...- Jim B

Deyo mayo jars?
GREAT info here guys! Got my bottle on a pick in 2018. Super nice lid but it took a bump and cracked the jar. This was before I got to it! Yesterday one finally popped up so I'll have a clean jar for my original lid! Original lid hasta be rare! Gotta love when you finally complete a jar or...- Jim B

Chestnut Bott Pontiled but izit real??
DEH - I know where there is one of these but some dumbass drilled out the dime sized pontil.....to make a lamp? Swirl is from shoulder up and same color as yours. Has more of a triangle shaped finish like seen on most demijohns. I was gonna get it but with the pontil drilled I'm sure it's junk...- Jim B

Again another bottle that so clean people have a hard time accepting them as real. Is it really possible to get a bottle from this time period with minimal wear? I do realize many collectors tumble and have ways of cleaning.- Jim B

Been hearing this. Only ref for old glass I have are some case Gins. One goes back to 1750 but they are totally diff glass mix but the crudeness is there. Wern't some of the Chestnuts wrapped kinda like a Demijohn or some of the other bottles of the time?- Jim B

Roman Glass 100AD/CE??
Ok I really did it now! My oldest bottle ever Roman 1st Century AD so 100AD. Some say 200-400AD but I found one just like it on feebay with a card claiming 75AD. Last 2 pics Roman Glass but it Balsamarium or Piriform Unguentarium Blown Glass Perfume Bottle. Looking for more positive info...- Jim B
