Colgate dental powder with lid that still twists and Dr. Baxter’s Mandrake Bitters - both cool looking bottles. This third and fourth ones I don’t know what the embossing is?
My son works construction and they found these while digging up a foundation. He immediately called me to see if I wanted them. I have no idea what the clear one is - invecia?
Thank you. And that is the one with the weird mark. Hmmm. Now it’s going to drive me crazy not knowing lol any idea of an approximate date? I’m thinking early 1920’s?
Love it!!! I posted mine in the Glens Falls Facebook page because like you, I found no info on the dairy. The family of the dairy still live here, on the property and are sharing great stories! Maybe you can find info on social media as well?
The Adirondack one is broken - but I couldn’t not take it. Here are pics of the two smallest and the medium one. Have a local large one as well that I’m told by the surviving family is a rare find! Super stoked.
Ironically - I saved it because I knew you looked for them - BUT - I saved the one you can’t read (duh!)
No worries - I will be back many times. Will bring back a couple others I found
I’m confused here because the “I” in the diamond is longways. Illinois Glass Co. from what I can find went the other way? Machine made, 2 piece. These are the only markings. And when researching - are both of these bottles considered olive green? Thanks in advance
Do you live in Tupper Lake? We are in Glens Falls - just bought a camp in Minerva. Finding some cool stuff so far - nothing overly exciting but still fun.
During my treasure hunt today, I came across many slicks. I kept them because I really like them - but are you ever able
To find out what they were or when they are from?
