Real or fake?
Bought this over the weekend and it has me stumped. It is a gold amber Washington/Taylor flask. It does have an applied top. Glass appears to be from a wood mold. But the bottom has me stumped because I’ve never seen a pontil like this. If it’s fake, it’s a damn good fake.- DoubleEagleHunter

Digging alone
Does anyone have tips? I’ve never been keen to the idea of digging alone because of the dangers of cave ins and what not but it doesn’t seem that I will find a partner to go out. Pretty sure I’ll stick to dumps but I know there has to be people that brave these holes alone and have some advice...- DoubleEagleHunter

Possible Louisville dump found
Went fishing this morning and ran the bite out till about 1 pm. Figured, what the hell, let’s explore a bit. Was cruising an old neighborhood first settled c. 1800 and found a nice hillside where perhaps there may be a dump.
