Round bottom/Torpedo bottles
My favorite type of bottle to find: Torpedo, round bottom. Late 1800s/turn of the century. Found 6 in eastern Massachusetts river during 2 different late summer hunts. L.H. Thomas ink well
Cool looking aqua color L.H. Thomas ink well saved from an eastern massachusetts river late summer. Love the color, crudeness and all the beautiful imperfections. 1870-1880 period if am correct. Please comment if my dating is off. Thanks, Patrick- PAX_in_MA

What is this defect on stoneware bottle?
Wrongly posted about this bottle in the pre 1900 forum. Not knowing much if anything about stoneware, have been doing a lot of research and noticed that a lot of stoneware bottles have similar glaze patches/stains. I know it's not it and that it is original but looks like if somebody repaired...- PAX_in_MA

Looking for info about this stoneware
Salt glazed stoneware. Believe it to be turn of the century but have little to no knowledge about stoneware. Stamp says "Campos, Filhos Aveiro Portugal". From what I gathered Campos Filhos was a pottery maker based in Aveiro, Portugal. Wondering if the bottle was imported to the US and then...- PAX_in_MA
