welp, I just had literally the most successful day in bottle hunting I've ever had.

Moodorf, WOW! Truly, a day to remember! . ..Glad to see you've done your hw with the background history and maps. Those homeowners may become friendly over time. Paying off in the long run. In any case, this area is your baby for the foreseeable future. Have fun with it and keep us posted from...

    Any Idea ??

I agree--not common, interesting on more than one level. Might have been produced for the discerning wine drinkers. --I'd guess late '50s-'60s.

Whiskey bottle used as a syrup bottle early 1900's

I believe DD's just came out with a maple syrup coffee combo. I don't think anything with maple syrup surprises me. Then or now. It is one of my "secret ingredients" for hotdogs+ beans, chili, etc. Now if we can talk DDs into adding that other previously mentioned component-- I'd have to buy...

    I Swore I'd Stop Collecting

My display area is small. I still love those that are there, although there are many contenders to such a spot. I used to dust seasonally but now only as needed. Yes, I have final say over when that is and please don't ask for a pic.

I think I did pretty well for five dollars

Hi Hunter, I like the Nujol. They came in different sizes. Found a few on a dig last year. They're not only uniquely shaped but the glass was a little thicker too, making them survivors. Mine were mostly '30s- '40s. Not worth a whole lot but the name alone is interesting and fun. Congrats on the...

Yes, the Hutches are both cool and tough. They were the toast of the 1880s-'90s. ..And the bread + butter of many collectors over a century later. ;)

19th Century Cobalt Glazed Ceramic Inkwell

Yes, they both are eye catching. Nice finds, but I see no evidence of ink staining. There is the possibility they were never used for that purpose. ..I'd guess and say they might be part of a young girl's collection. The creamer might only have landed near the Oriental styled piece but were not...

    The Goshen City Bottling Company

Thanks. Sounds great. If ever I'm passing through I will. Also, I be remiss if I didn't invite you to GHS in Goshen, Conn. --One has to wonder how many Goshens there are in North America?:)
