Orange Crush West Palm Beach FL

I'm guessing this a rare location for one of these 6 oz beehive bottles from the 1920's?

    Fancy embossed pop tops

Here is a part of my collection of art deco soda types that date from early 1920's up to early 1940's. 65 total in this window but always looking for ones I don't have that have interesting names or slogans.

Art Deco Soda bottle for sale

Great graphics of oranges all over embossed on this 1931 Crystal Club Red Head bottle with very little wear from use. The worst of the wear is just below the crown cap and I took a close up of that. No chips or cracks. The bottle cap pictured is not included and is pictured just for reference to...

Picked these up at Shupp's Grove bottle show.

Got a Flaccus Bros Steer's head fruit jar with ground lid and original glass screw on lid. Picked up this dug Christian Heurich Baltimore beer with tooled crown top and loads of rainbow benicia film. A 24 oz Orange Crush deco with John Epping on base. (what's it worth??)

    Museum repro flasks

Picked up this emerald flask cheap at a yard sale last week. Matches my cobalt one and goes with the purple one. These are all MMA metropolitan museum of art pieces with pontil scars on the base, I think made in the 1980's but not sure. Not really repros but made to sort of look like Stiegel...

    Nichol Kola Thirst Checker

Recently picked up this Nichol Kola Bottling CO Thirst Checker bottle from Mt Airy MD. N K B CO is all the embossing besides the town and Thirst Checker around the shoulder. Nichol Kola opened a plant in Mt Airy MD in 1938 which puts the date of this bottle sometime after that. I lived in this...

Comparing some Bitters embossing designs to later bottles.

I see some similarities in some fancy embossed bitters and some of the fancy embossed soda's (deco's) from the 20's and 30's. What do you think, did these soda bottle makers incorporate some of these bitters designs knowing the bitters stood out and sold better because of that fact. Now I know...

Understanding/identifying what a pontil scar is.

There seems to be a lot of new collectors who are confused what a pontil scar looks like or is. They seem to know its on the base of the bottle but after that they get a bit confused sometimes. Lets start with the open pontil which is probably the most common of pontil marks. The still in making...

    Iscola art deco soda bottle

Here is a German soda I could find little on. Dates around 1929 with German city of Heilbronn and Italian city of Lucca on base. I was able to find this ad and a reference to the empty bottle on a Worthpoint sales page. Any one else knowing something would be helpful, Thanks.
