It was found in Paraguay, South America. By the 19th century glass houses were rare. In Argentina the first start in 1882 and it was the only one in the country untill late 19th century. Before that all bottles were imported from Europe and
from the States also.

Last week I went to a dump with my shovel in search of bottles. No one bottle but these three items I found in the same place.
I´m not sure of what is the pipe. I think it´s an insulating pipe for electricity
. I think instead it's probably a South American glassmaker, it would have been an odd business decision to ship bottles all the way from the US to Patagonia when there were manufacturers located closer to home.

These bottles have the A in a circle embossed in the center of their bases and date about 1930. I´m trying to identify the glasshouse. I know that the American Glass Works use a mark like this, but I´m not sure because my bottles are not American. I know that company existed since 1909 until...
I guess someone could tel me about this finding. This is a common glass stopper but the first with that embossing. It appear to me Rolbrook & C°
