    Old Olive Oil bottle

Found this in the back of a Curio Cabinet. My Mom had it labelled on the bottom. Olive Oil Bottle - 1600's. That's all I know about it.

Bottom marks on a Hutchinson blob.

The marks on the bottom kind of looks like a shield with a head or a crown at the top. I dunno. What do you think?

Lines on a bottle, flaw or not?

I wonder what caused this. These lines that swirl on the bottle are too uniform to be incidental scratches. Probably made during manufacturing. They are raised and you can feel them with your fingernail. Does anyone know what they are, and what caused them? I looked around on several condition...

    Honey Amber Coke

Is mine the same as this one that is here in a Antique Coca-Cola Bottle Hall of Fame list? http://www.antiquebottles.com/coke/fame.html (Hope it's ok to post links). Scroll down to the 17th bottle, described as a Huntsville Ala S-S Coke in rare honey amber coloration. These are usually seen only...

    Coca-Cola Root bottle

Hello, New member here. I found a box full of old bottles out in my garage. I'm trying to find something out about this one. It's from Huntsville, Alabama and ROOT 955 is embossed near the bottom. I've read about the Root Glass Co., but can't find anything about why the root 955 would be...
