Did a lot of digging when I lived in California. Thought I’d share. Read an old thread from here- 2011- about a franchise bottler in Kern County who was sued by Coca Cola in 1925. Haven’t found a photo of this particular bottle, but interesting story that I could only find here on antique bottles!
Haven’t been on in a long time. Was back in the eastern Sierras at one of my favorite sites by an old mining site, and uncovered this. Rinsed it out and off (some bugs stayed around) anyone know its age and history possibly? Thanks!
The ones I saw in California were about that size. Lineman were changing them
Out for even bigger, super heavy glass. It’s unique . I’d add in mine for sure I’f I found it
Just looking for a possible year if any one knows. I stumbled upon a treasure trove of all different sizes and colors, a lot had remains still in the cups. I was hunting around an old closed mine. Will share more pics if anyone is interested.
Oh good! Haha. I’m excited to see what it looks like and the process. I would be terrified. I think of a tumbler that I use to put my rocks in to make them clean and shiny but not a bottle!!
