Discovered old rhien gold “chug a mug” bottles on a dig. Some still have the caps on them! Found about 10 in total.

I just checked these bottles all originated from Orange, NJ. With the number 68 on the bottom. Presuming thats the year .

I initially found my first “chug a mug” bottles a couple winters ago, very intrigued by the design so Before becoming a member here i did a bit of research about the rhien gold company. It was a pretty popular beer at one point. Very cool bottle in my opinion!

    ? Old michelob idk ?

Yea definitely could be. I assumed it was alcohol related based off of everything i found. Most of it was beer bottles , though there was alot of additional jars and bottles too.
