Need help with dating ROOT bottle

Very nice collection! Now you just need a good bookshelf to display them all

Need help with dating ROOT bottle

Not at the moment but if I ever happen to downsize I’ll keep you in mind, they’re mostly Canadian bottles but I have some cokes and Hutchinson bottles from the states

Do you follow any bottle collector/digger pages on Facebook? I find those to be a lot more active than this forum

Need help with dating ROOT bottle

Yeah I’ve noticed there’s way more antique stores and flea markets in the states, way more people and a lot of history down there!

This is my best ACL bottle, I think it’s one of the best ACL bottles from Canada

Nice! I have about 20 ACL bottles but am more into turn of the century stuff. Up here in Saskatchewan you don’t really find too many historic dump sites but it’s still a thrill to find old acl bottles from the later decades, if you’re into good graphics to display then ACL is the way to go

Need help with dating ROOT bottle

I started collecting pop bottles when I was a kid, stopped for a good 14 years then started up again last year in my mid 20s, it got a little out of hand in 2023 and I’ve collected a lot in a short amount of time to the point of having to delete my eBay account and fb pages as it got too...

I paid 120 for it, but with the shipping charges and stupid customs fees it ended up costing me more

Sorry it’s not for sale, I’m not sure if it’s more scarce than some other ambers out there but it’s the first one I’ve seen from the Pacific Northwest

Need help with dating ROOT bottle

I recently acquired an amber heel script straight sided coke from Portland Oregon. On the curve of the heel it reads “01 ROOT 249”. Does anyone have more info on when it was made? The information I could find on Root date codes has left me confused with no answers

Straight side Coca Cola from Canada- Root bottle

Yeah that’s what I was thinking too, I found this page so it’s known to exist, but not much info on it other than that unfortunately!

Straight side Coca Cola from Canada- Root bottle

I was wondering if anyone has some info on the scarcity and value of this Canadian straight side coke, I have a small collection of straights sides from Canada and this is the first Root variant I’ve come across and can’t find any info on it. Across the bottom it says “PROPERTY OF THE COCA-COLA...

    Goodwill Vancouver island bottle wanted

Yeah I wouldn’t mind paying 25-30 on shipping but $60 to ship one bottle is outrageous lol

    Goodwill Vancouver island bottle wanted

I used to live in North Vancouver but moved back to Saskatchewan for a while and never see anything like that here, don’t think we even have bottle shows here, I might have to enquire on some Facebook pages, I’ve had luck there in the past

    Goodwill Vancouver island bottle wanted

Yeah that’s the one I’m looking for, there’s one on eBay but don’t feel like getting hosed paying $40 plus $60 for shipping, that’s crazy
