    Interesting find.

Hello all, Haven’t posted on here for a while but recently made an interesting find in a freshly plowed field. Looks to me like a wax seal but I don’t have enough experience in this age finds to fully know what I’m talking about. It looks to be dated 1712 along the bottom. Some letters appear...

    Some Big Old Kick-ups!

Hi everyone, Thanks for any advice given on recent bottles and DM’s from a few to try out other forums! The advice has been really helpful for a newbie! Anyway, I may have come across a really nice little dump site to explore. With it being summer, it gives me more time to go out and check out...

Unexpected early find in the forrest near my house!

Hi again folks. Some more nice finds at the tip! I got back down to the tip on my lunch break and had a surface look for some old pottery so I can go home and research to find an age. So, I collected some of the nicest samples and made my way back to the school. I noticed old looking glass along...

Unexpected early find in the forrest near my house!

As promised, some close-ups of the crown perfumery bottles, and the Coca Cola bottle from the creek. The crown perfumery bottles are apparently difficult to find? I picked up all 5 for £25 at my local Charity Shop, and wondered if you guys had any idea on the value of them. Anyways, went back to...

Unexpected early find in the forrest near my house!

Thank you very much for the attention! At the minute, I am out at my college, but I will be sure to stick some pictures on there later. The Crown Perfumery Bottles were bought as a set. The lot was sold to me for £25 in my local charity shop. I knew they were valuable but just never had the time...

Unexpected early find in the forrest near my house!

I thought I would just add this to the thread I already started but I have a huge update and I am shaking as I type this. We dug out a pit towards to bottom of the valley, around 20ft away from the river bed, and some beautiful bottles came out, including my first Stone Wear bottle (Possibly a...

Yeah some very nice finds there, I like the cobalt jar, not sure on the name because I can’t see all of it but lovely find otherwise!

Help with any info on these bottles

I can give some information! So the brown bottle is some kind of beer or ale bottle, probably from around 1880-1900. And the other 2 bottles, one being a Hatchinson style bottle (The Lyon’s) and the other being an applied lip bottle, both would’ve been soda bottles!

Unexpected early find in the forrest near my house!

Thanks for all the help everyone! One of my friends also went there and found this really nice R-Whites sofa bottle. I’ll attach some photos at the bottom. I’m guessing we can date this dump by finding age of the bottles, so I would think this dump is late victorian and possibly edwardian. I do...

Can anyone help identify this bottle

Yes nice find! The seam on the bottle tells us it was made in two halves, so probably 1920’s to 1930’s, but lovely find nonetheless. Looks like a whiskey flask, I love finding these but even better if they’re embossed!

    What the heck is this?

Yes that is a very nice bottle. Probably early 1900’s and looks like an ink-well. Couldn’t tell you a value or an exact date but lovely find.

Unexpected early find in the forrest near my house!

Hi all, This is my first post on this site and I am excited to share this bottle I found. I was cycling out across the forrest near my house and was on my way to an 1940’s dump site in the forrest. On the way, I stopped by an old Farmstead to have some food, and noticed the valley next to it. It...
