J C Buffum Porter for sale

Just in case any one wanted a shot at one of those porters I dug in February. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Very-rare-early-J-C-Buffum-XXX-porter-Pittsburgh-Pa-civil-war-pontil-era-soda-/190672860981?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2c64fcf735#ht_720wt_1398 Thanks, Ant

    fruit jar

Does anyone have a red book value on a mason's quart with a G on the front? I'd never seen one before. I guess it must be old because it came out of a pontil pit... so the 1858 date might actually be legitimate! Thanks, Ant

    killer dig

Dug a pit yesterday which was 9ft deep. That is DEEP for this neck of the woods. The newest bottle was 1880 but at the bottom it was 1850-60. There was SO much broken pontiled glass it was amazing. I have no pictures but a lot of video which I will put up on the tube next week sometime...

    pittsburgh flask

I've not posted any digs in a while... so here's a quart flask we dug a month ago. We did get a rare local ale out of the pit too. Maybe I'll post that later. These flasks are not too rare but are unusual as they only advertise the glassmaker. Ant
