National Potteries green tobacco jar 1162

Good afternoon! Embossed on the bottom…. National Potteries Glass Division 1162 According to my online research this is a tobacco jar from 1950’s made from depression glass. (was thinking it was made in 1962.) What is the meaning of 1162?

Embossed (Eagle and Stars) Gallon bottle….

Can someone please share information? I think it may be a whiskey bottle. It’s just over 17” tall, embossed eagle and stars on both side, has “FULL GALLON” and “FEDERAL LAW FORBIDS……” Thank you!
