    It's a hinge mold bottle Michael, with an open pontil scar and the mold seam going diagonally across the middle of the base, so the seam line is visible in the 'open' middle of the pontil mark.

    McT is right: Y G Co inside a hexagon in that style is the York Glass Co mark, from York in the UK. They were probably the largest maker of chemist / druggist display bottles in Britain during the 19th and early 20th centuries.

    RE: D. David's Tincture / For The Teeth and Gums. You're right: it's probably Davidson. Zoomed image shows an 'o' after 'Davids'. Makes sense: there were a few "Davidson's" patent medicines in the UK 1800 - 1860 (Davidson's Ointment, Davidson's Aperient Vegetable Pills, and so on).
