I found this in a creek bed in western Alabama. Hutchinson bottle marked COLUMBUS ICE Co MISS. Base has a crude "K". Seems to have no damage other than some internal staining. Ideas on value or at least rarity?
I found this bottle in an outhouse pit in Alabama today. The other material dated from about 1890 to 1920 or so. It has a seam to the shoulder, a threaded neck and a sheared top.
Ideas on age, scarcity and value?
6&1/2" tall. The mold seam stops at the base of the neck. Lip seems to be tooled (?). Has one tiny bubble burst on the surface near the bottom and there is a small chip under the rim of the lip. Slight haze from digging.
Ideas on value, age and origin would be appreciated. Thanks!
Looking for digging partner(s). I don't mind traveling or sharing. I'm new to bottle digging but I've got over 20 years experience digging Indian relics and metal detecting. I don't dig behind a partner's back and I don't take other people to the honey hole.
