I was thinking something along those lines to . Kind of like in the 1700s and 1800s they used something like this to cover the bad smells when walking around the cities . But as you can see the bottles in question are I'm guessing here from the 50s . Now I have seen and bought a few that where...

I've had this ink for years at least I think it's an ink . My problem is I don't own any price guides and I don't like posting on the forums much because I don't wanna over use my welcome so to speak but, out of my collection people all ways ask me about this bottle . I'm guessing because of its...

Candies?

I have a few of these bottles I've collected over the years and always wondered what they were used for . I've heard candies and perfume amongst other things I'm just not sure . So any help would be nice .

Cool thanks for the responses guys . I don't post much on here so I guess that makes sense . That's one thing I've really like about this site over the years there is always some one willing to help ya out . Once again thanks for the info.

what is it

it is a monogram for the name Jesus Christ. You see it allot on crosses hanging above where jesus head would rest depicting his name as such.

Yeah that's what I thought . I've seen a cpl of displays with this type of bottle and think they look great think I might try one myself

I know this is off topic but can someone explain to me why under my name it reads (new member) ? I've Been a member sense 2006 it's not a big issue with me just found it kind of strange

This thing is in great shape not one single scratch can't get over how nice of shape it is in . I paid $10.00 for it

Found this at a flea market the other day . I'm a collector of bottles and I tend to just collect smaller size bottles such as inks and poisons . I have no real reason why just small bottles except I can have more of them lol. Any ways tried looking around to see what this thing might be worth...

Painted letters

I have a question I've been collecting for a few years now and I have always wondered does painting the letters on bottles make the bottle worth less ? If its ok to paint what type of paint would be best to use ?

candy anyone ?

the ink on the left is an english one i think it has 3 sides near the bottom of one side it says<derby all british) on the bottom very lightly you can read the numbers 453 i think the 3 questionable...... the ogreen bottle in the back of the gun reads (rumfords chemical works) on the right edge...

i found this in a yard sale . anyone know of a price for ir ? i just started collecting the candies cause the wife likes the way they look .. kinda cute i guess anyways i dont have a candy price guide for them anyone know where i might get one ?

lol back to where i started . i do agree that if someone did reproduce these thay didnt do many at all . ive never seen another one at auction before . who knos i only paid 100.00 for it and its a great looking peice of class work . thanks for the replys guys :)

log cabin

anyone know anything about this one ? its a log cabin on the roof embosed it says lutted's (s.p. cough drops) ..............seen it on ebay felt i had to have it payed 100.00 for it so if anyone know if i got riped off or not let me know ................ ps not sure of the exact size didnt...
