Found this in an antique store in Berlin, Maryland. L PABST Baltimore Stoneware Weiss Beer. $10. Most of the time I find nothing worth while but was glad to see this one sitting on the shelf for sale.
While browsing some of the sellers items for sale I found this. This does not look like a dive find to me. Reproduction.

I picked these up at the last Baltimore Bottle Club meeting. Even though both have lip chips on the back side, I had to get them for the color. The color on these is amazing. I think I have looked at them over 100 times in the sun over the past week.
Just curious to see if any other members make their own beer.
Here is a picture of me racking 5 gallons of beer to a secondary fermenter to clear out some more. Scottish Ale. Should be ready in August.

Picked this one up recently on Glassworks.
GIV-17 Masonic Arch Eagle Flask( 1820-1830) Keene Glassworks. Does have lip repair but I love it anyway.
I am starting to like all kinds of early glass, not just pontiled medicines.
Thanks,
Marc
Just received this one in the mail today. It is an upgrade from the one I got a couple of years ago. It does have a lip chip like my other one, but the embossing on this one is very sharp and bold. Glad I got it.
Embossed on six side:

Added these to my collection recently. Even though I mainly collect Baltimore pontil medicines, I am starting to like the early embossed pontiled beer bottles as well.
Found this interesting brick this morning searching near Historic Ellicott City, Maryland.
J S Berry Brick Mill was started by John and Thomas Berry around 1812 near Oriole Park Camden Yards location. They were in business through the early 1900's. Found a reference on google books that you...
Went to the dump on Sunday to see how it looked since the summer. Found two Baltimore beers. Phillips Bros Blob Top 1893 version ( whole) and S. Helldorfer's Sons Brewers ( top missing). Found some shards as well.
Even though I mainly collect Baltimore Pontil Medicines, I am starting to like even earlier glass. I got this one from Glass Works last auction. Does have some internal spider cracks, but I love it anyway.
Wow!!! How many of them are out there? 1 or 2?
