    Yeah, it's not horribly scratched up. There is nothing to indicate it was ever in the ground.

    This is the first bottle I've bought in a very long time. It was only a couple bucks in a thrift store. It has no seams. Was this a liquor bottle? Any ideas on age? It's got a few seed bubbles and is pretty irregular in shape.

    Also, this farmer may have had a crop duster at some point. It's a flightline fire extinguisher. Maybe it was in case of him dusting his plane instead of the crops.

    Any Idea ?

    This one is similar. I was told that the cap kept the stopper in place so that the country doctor wouldn't spill the contents when he rode a horse to see patients. I was also told the metal cap was a dose cup. Hope that helps. Couldn't tell you if it's true or not though. Paul

    Better Photos of My Newest Druggists

    It's tough to photograph the embossing on a bottle. It's hard to get the light right. I find it's easier to just take a rubbing of the embossing. Comes out really crisp and readable. Just a thought. It's an awesome bottle. Paul
