Although I cannot provide a photo, I have found several Evangeline bottles, embossed and painted label very similar to what is pictured. They were marked with New Brunswick, but I do not remember if they said Moran Beverages. Perhaps Evangeline was franchised.
The bottle, made by consumers glass, itself is used at least one other brand. I don't have pictures, but there is a brand called "Peerless" from the Martime provinces that used same bottle with different paint. I believe it was used during the 70's, possibly 60's.
that's insane!!!!!! too bad about the shovel dents and chipped enamel in the front eh? It's probably worth more than my bottle collection even in it's current state and all I had to do was pick it up [:D] Thank you so much for the info Bobby!
A few words of advice: Using vinegar on coins is usually a bad idea. It wouldn't really matter on a coin in this condition though. The green corrosion on the coin will not come off no matter what you clean it with. Vinegar strips a layer of metal off the surface of the coin leaving it shiney but...
