I just received an e-mail offer to buy these inks from a collector in the Netherlands. If they were only real and had nice finished lips. Some unscrupulous jackass will grind and polish the tops and try to pass them off for real. Beware ink collectors!!!!![:@]/
I need your help in dating the period of time teakettle inks where made. Our prominent auction house seem to disagree, jim says 1880 to 1895 and Norm quotes 1830 to 1860.
Therefore to help resolve, please answer this question if you have ever dug one.
What period of bottles were they found...
