thanks for the info everyone...i have a growing assortment of bottles-i"ve never sold any yet-but i enjoy putting em up once in awhile..i actually posted last pics without daughters help...hehehe..

COUPLE LOCAL FINDS

Thank you-bomboy-yeah the bottles i have are very varied-they are 99% finds with alot of unique tales in alot of those finds-i got hooked about 20 years ago while working on a municipal sewer job.though i have not dug it interests me greatly-if you wish to e-mail me -stat rt. 29 will get us to...

milk-John W. Hunt Schuylerville n.y.-amber chemical-Oakland Chemical Co.-dioxogen-embossed on bottle--2-J.Lake Saratoga N.Y.-pony sodas-blob-has B.M.Tasker FT. Edward N.Y.--in front--bottle has-B.L. Hurd-Druggist-Schuylerville n.y.-if anyone has any info on rarity or value would be appreciated...

swizzle-sorry to mislead-not intentional..the j.lakes i got from my pipe laying days about 15 years ago...the milk came from the river....i guess anything is for sale..lol..make offer -lock 12 is not that far away

milk bottle was found in same area as master ink-but last year..two end bottles are-i believe sodas-they say -j.lake--saratoga n.which is about 13 miles west of home--milk has--chestnut farms-chey chase dairy-washington d.c.---one j.lake has been tumbled -cool bottles

getting better with pics and yes we all had a very successful day fishin...my daughter reminded me that i found a milk bottle with chevy chase maryland embossed on it..will try to get my hands on it to post...hey this kinda cool..

thanks-surfaceone-#1twin and joethecrow for info on bottle and how to post pics..would anyone have an idea of the era of bottle or value??we have a small collection of sodas-blobs-and torpedos--mabe i can prtice posting pics of those in near future..thanks for taking time to share your knowledge

FOUND FISHIN

my girlfriend found this washed ashore while we were fishin the hudson river in schuylerville n.y.--looks to be glazed stoneware.with lip for pouring...no embossing-would anyone have any ideas to what she has found???

cookie-neat bottle-i live two miles from quaker springs n.y.-so it is pretty cool seeing that bottle-you actually can still pump sping water at a site in q.springs maybe i can post pic if you wish...annie -what is "glassworks""-any info i would be interested-thanks

yeah lobey cat-i hear ya-i really never considered it in that perspective...i like to consider myself a collecter-but my daughter says i am a pack-rat...lol i have had my bottles for pretty close to ten years and never knew what i had til i purchased a computer and found this forum..

thanks julie for the compliment... i am kind of stuck between cleaning my bottles or keeping the "old" look....i only have 30-40 bottles but i plan on collecting/digging more. what is your preference???
