    Large lighted display cases

Each case measures 72 inches wide, 84 inches tall , 17 inches deep. I found a local shipping company near the original owner's house in Lincoln Nebraska who boxed them up, wrapped the glass, and stored them until the next available truck headed for Texas.

    Wishart's Dig

Nice digs. That Wisharts on the right has a funky crooked trunk. Nice rainbow benicia sheen to it too.

Dug my first Warner's Safe Cure in the TOC dump (Plus a '20s silver find)

Very nice indeed. Believe it or not, our first bottle - the one that got me and little brother hooked on bottles forever- was a big Warners (animal?) Safe Cure that washed out of a gully after a big rain storm in 1973. You can never have too many Warners !

    Large lighted display cases

Thanks. I'm asking $300 for the pair , which is what I paid for them 5 or 6 years ago. Cost me another $400 to ship them from Nebraska to Texas but if you dig around you might find a way to do it cheaper. Full disclosure : they are not in perfect condition , especially the one on the left...

    Large lighted display cases

Hi Folks,I bought these display cases 5 or 6 years ago from a beer stein collector in Nebraska and had them shipped to Texas with plans to restore them and use them to display my bottles. They were custom built many years ago by the Apex Store Fixture Co in NYC. They were in need of some TLC...

    Bottle auction callbacks

I have lost many a bottle where I was high bidder at the specified end of the auction because I won't/don't do the callback thing. For one, I bid the top dollar amount I'm willing to, or can afford to spend. Secondly, I can't spend all day Tuesday on the phone in bidding wars on bottles when...

    J.J.W PETERS HAMBURG BOTTLES

Hi Points, welcome to the forum. I would say the bottle on the left dates to the 1880's . Apparently a lot of these bottles come from dumps in the Panama Canal Zone. I would assume from the contruction zone dumps during the failed french attempt, not the later American effort. You see the...

    Lots of new goodies!

Great collection there Texasdigger ! Keep at it and you'll end up with the best collection of Texas pharmacies around - not something you can build off Ebay easily either. What's with all the Cincinnati bottles coming out of a Texas dump - evidence of an immigration pattern ?

    Bottle Room

Thanks for all the nice comments guys. I will take some more closeups if the sun comes out later. I have been collecting for about 35 years (man I'm getting old !) ever since my brother and I stumbled upon an old 1890s dump while goofing off in a local creek. Most of my better stuff has been...
