Got a few the other day, I took these photo's today and will photograph and post the rest on the weekend.
This is a Field ink with a J. Bourne potters stamp on the other side and a John Gosnell pot lid.
Got this Rowlands Ginger Ale blob top corker a little while ago, it's got the farmer and miner (plus coat of arms etc.) trade mark that Rowlands is famous for and loads of embossing on the back.
Anyone got photo's of some blob tops this shape? there are a few from Australia (at least two...

Finally got to taking a few photo's for Willman (and the rest of you [:D] ) to look at.
This is a group of the Codd variations other than the usual Dobson patent (there are probably more than 15 variations of the Dobson one's too), these are (L to R) all-way, bulb or bulge and a three...
Bet not too many of you have found one of these [:D] , I took these photo's yesterday (26/2/06) in the creek that flows past our house, this was taken about four meters from the house and was about a meter away from me.
Pretty cool hey!
The Australian National Bottle Show is on the 8 and 9 of July this year, the show is being held in Frankston Victoria Aust. and hosted by the Victorian Bottle and Collectibles Association and the Mornington Antique B&C Club and should be a top show.

Got out the last few days, this little lot is what I got in two days floating around in two different creeks.
They are:

Bought myself a few more Wilcox Brothers bottles [:D] , I've doubled my collection from this company this year, probably won't get any more for years now [;)] .
The one on the left is very rare, the others have the TreeFern trade mark and are not hard to get but still very nice bottles...
My computer and I had a disagreement last week and I could not log on to the forum [:@] , back again now anyhow now I've just got to get out and find some bottles worth showing to you all [:D] .
Been meaning to post this for a while, the story is 150 years old anyhow though [;)] .

One-way pour style is made by Cannington Shaw and the...
Got out the other night and found my first ever Aussie lid, a pretty good one too.
It's a rectangular Melhuish tooth paste from Sydney, any info on this lid re rarity etc. would be much appreciated.
very pleased with this one [:D] .
Not often I find something I don't have any idea about whatsoever but this little item I've had for over 8 years and still don't know anything about it.
It's 60MM long (a bit over two inches) with FAIRYLITE on the top in fancy script, it is obvously not a fairylight but I presume it's a...
Anyone here going to the Maryborough (Victoria) bottle show ? if so how about meeting up at the show ? most of the Aussies here know each other anyway but it would be great to meet up in real life with a few forum members. I'm doing a fair bit of detecting while I'm up there (going for a few...
G'day all, how many of you have found old guns while digging or detecting ? if you have let's see your rusty ol' shooting irons [:D] . They are found fairly often here in Oz.
These two are interesting, the top one is a double barrell flintlock, about .35 Cal.
Bottom one is a huge...
Went out with some friends the other day and one of them found five fairy lights, four in Aqua and one in Cobalt blue [;)] . There was a broken one in dark Amethyst too that would have been nice complete. This one was given to me, the cobalt blue is exactly the same as this but for the colour.
Bought these three little Codd's patents off a friend. They are as early as any codd you will ever see from Australia, they obiously need a polish but I'm happy [:D] .
They are John Starkey Sydney narrow neck Codd's patent 4, the rear embossing reads left to right, top of photo is the front...
I'd hate to think what was wrong with the people who tipped where I found this lot the other day [X(] , dates about 1910.
There is a few nice chemists from around Victoria, two unfortunatly with chipped lips, and a nice Melbourne Warners safe cure.
