I picked this up last weekend at a garage sale, older gentleman said he worked excavation years ago. He had plenty to offer, hutches, blobs and this one squat. Not having one on the shelf I had to have it. Elias Barth, Burlington, NJ, 7" smooth base w/"B", nice applied lip.
Only posting these cause I've never seen the smaller versions before, pint and half pint. If I'm correct Red Book says 1267-2, nice to have the lids and the jars are mint. They came from my pickup this weekend.

Mostly apothecary jars, quarts to one lone half gallon with reverse painted labels, some commons, a poison or two and a Zebra decanter. Crazy find totally unexpected. Some friends were cleaning out the barn and gave me a call, remembered I collect bottles. We went thru the boxes, settled on a...
Hey All,
Its been awhile, work, family, life has kept me of the site for some time. But I haven't stopped collecting, digging, looking, and today I picked up nearly a hundred bottles, 60 of them apothecary bottles. Posting those as well.
Well in the boxes I found three items that I just dont...
If anyone collects from this area, I saw these tonight. Short notice, but the pharm looks nice.
There's a couple of pics of the pharm and a local milk they're claiming as rare.

I need to plan a trip out that way and looking to see if there are any shows/events this year. Traveling between Apr - July, or Sept. time frame.
If anyone knows of anything, it would be appreciated.
Thanks, Mark
Well after 12 days, 15 emails after the first contact thru Craigslist, I had a secretly arranged meeting tonight to look at a couple of bottles.
There were two bottles supposed to be brought by, a Nujol and an S.S. Fitch. From the pictures sent to me, the Fitch was four sided with indented...
Picked these up the other day, hadn't got to cleaning them yet. Posted the Parker the other day, wondering on the flared lip.
Here's the line up;
E.E. Miner Gloversville - local blob I've been hunting
Parker's Ginger Tonic - recent post
Schenk's Pulmonic Syrup - not OP but in great shape...
Picked up a shoe box with a couple of bottles in it and this Parkers was in there. I dont remember seeing one with a flared lip on it before, most I've seen have been rounded. Is this an earlier version or what?
Sorry for the crappy pics, down to one arm, had rotator cuff fixed on Tuesday...
Friend of mine told me she had a crock for me, little did I know it was something like this.
Its G. Apley from Ithaca NY, 2 gallon, made between 1860 - 1862. Its missing its handle and has a chip on the base, but displays nice. Maybe someday I'll have a handle but on it.
But not the sought after 12oz.
This is 7 oz and is dated 59. Comes from Palatine Bridge NY, another close enough local.
Now the question, any way to get the discoloration/stain out of the acl? Looks like it sat face down in the dirt and has darkened.

Short notice, but I just saw this. Hopefully someone can go and get some good pics.

Hey All,
Picked this up today from that e place, couldn't help myself cause it's local. Albert Hertz Liquor Store, dated back to 1912 so far, more research needed to get a date range.
Thanks for looking.

Anyone have any info on:
Murray's Sarsaparilla, should have been in business around 1890. Looking for any info on the company and a pic or two of the bottle(s) would be great.
Thanks, Mark
