Just dug this one Saturday. New to me, any one here ever seen another?
C.C.C. TONIC
Clear with tooled lip
8 1/4" tall, 3" x 2" across the base
The "CCC" is a little lite on the strike, but the word "Tonic" is strongly embossed.
Thanks for looking!
Finally got a chance to pick on some of the digs from this summer last weekend. A few of the bottles I posted earlier this year and promised better photos once they got cleaned up, so here they are. More pictures to come later, I still have one digging partner to pick with.....
Dug this one last weekend, not sure how common but it is a new one to me. Appears to be a closure for a quart jar, heavy molded lugs around the outer ring and an odd molded cam system on the inside.
Embossed around rim:
WARM CAP SLIGHTLY TO SEAL ORUNSEAL
Center embossed:
PATD/OCT...
I know I've heard of these some where, but can not find it listed on the usual online soda guides.
Recently sent to me so it can be tumbled, but think this one may be worth more than I want to handle. Any help appreciated....... [8|]

All the bottles in this photo were added to my "keeper collection" this past year, some have been featured in previous posts, some have not. While Woodard, Clark & Co is one of the most common Oregon druggists, these are some of the better examples.
A while back my Dad dug a number of Warners Safe Cures out of the same hole, all with heavy patina and discoloration. I aquired one to use as a "practice bottle" while learning how to use my tumbler. I'll be the first to admit it seems to have come out almost unnaturally clean and sparkeling...
Just dug this one today, can find plenty of info about bottles made for BEGGS products, but not for "TROPICAL OIL". Any help with this one would be great.... Age, common or not ect.... Thanks.
While at the bottle show and sale in Canyonville, Oregon this year I purchased an amber
DICKEY/PIONEER/1850/CHEMISTS/S.F.
It Appears to be a newer (but still BIM w/ tooled top) varient and rather unremarkable. On closer inspection it was noted that the pestal in the embossed mortar was...
Going through some old boxes packed away in storage, cataloging and repacking for now, until they can be properly displayed. We are on box 250, about 100 more to go. Most of the boxes are fairly plain and common stuff...... but every once in a while.... Three pepper sauces....
Got out with my Dad this last Sunday for a dig. We met his cousins in a small town they live in, and went out looking for a place to dig. Within 2 blocks we had our first three permissions, it sure helps when you have a local resident with you in a small town!
Here is a shot of Dad and...

Right and rear panels blank

Hello,
I am looking for a bottle embossed "A D ASHLEY'S RED SEA BALSAM NEW BEDFORD, MASS". It is to be a gift for a freind's daughter named Ashley who is attending Pre-Med. I understand these are fairly common, but am unable to locate one in my area. Willing to pay a fair market price plus...
Got out for a quick dig today. Nothing spectacular, but it was fun! Found an unusual littled head on a handle, it has been posted under the "What IS It" forum.
If there's digging in the neighborhood...... just follow the trail of 5x7 tarps and you'll find my Dad and I! We never load more...
Dug this today in a 1890-TOC hole. Little over 6" tall, handle like body, face of an old man and appears to be wearing some kind of black beanie, maybe like one a priest would wear. There is a hole going from one side of the neck to the other, with a small metal rod going through it. Paint is...
