    Error Bottle maybe?

Thanks for the great info RED..appreciate it. Even the seam is off center, more to the left in the side view photo and only appears to go down to the shoulder part. If it does go all the way down, I can't tell. Any ideas what kind of bottle it would have been, medicine, liquor?

    Error Bottle maybe?

Yeah, that's what I find odd about it. And yes, it could have been on purpose just never saw this before. At least you can notice even from the photos. Thanks for your response!

Hi all, I've not posted in a while but found a strange one last weekend. Strange in that the inside glass shape differs greatly from the outside as seen in these photos. Front photo you can see how the shape on inside curves down. Only marking on bottom is just a Diamond (only info I find on...

Metal dectector guy turned bottle digger

Hit my spot again today since I had the day off from work. This place is a bottle diggers dream. Spent 3 hours here and most of these were on the surface or at the most 4 to 6 inches deep. Also only spent time around 3 or 4 very small areas and glass is scattered over at least a 1/4 acre. Most...

Metal dectector guy turned bottle digger

Yep, I went to an old site I researched with the intent of metal detecting. Is now remnants in the woods of a cotton mill that was built in 1808. Found a ton of broken glass, took the bottoms home to research them and found them to be early 1900's. Went back today and all I did was dig for...
