Hey Karen & Gordon...

You won't find them in the red book. They weren't canning jars. They came in three sizes large, small and sample bottles of like pre-digested baby food. You will be able to find them in some of the other bottle books, though. The older ones with the ground tops go for about $8 to $10. I gave a set of three to our pediatritian a while ago. He has taken care of our three kids for the past 15 years, and now he has them on display at his office.[;)]

Anyway, hope this helps you out at bit. I don't know much of the history of the company, so I can't help you out there. Always great to see your photos of the bottles and your diggin. Keep it up.

Oh, one other thing... check under "Mellin's Infant Food" It looks like you have one of the newer bottles, automatic bottle machine made. The earlier ones were marked different and they were a light green to deep aqua in color.
