Green etched glass ?

Found this at my 1900-ish digging spot. Its the only piece that surfaced. I' ve never seen etched glass before. Can someone id this and the year ? -Dave

Etched and sandblasted bottles were used from about the 1850s-60s until up as late as the 1920s most likely even later in some places.
I' ve seen it on beers, wines and soft drinks (codds and lamonts patents).
Your bottle bit looks familar but I can' t place it [sm=rolleyes.gif] , I' m sure someone here will tell you what it is.

Hi David,
This bottle is a De Chartreuse bottle which was a French Liquer or wine bottle.
The one I have dates around 1910.

Ah! that' s where I' ve seen one before, I could not for the life of me remember where I knew it from.
