Hey Gang,
I have some friends who have a house on the coast of Washington State. It sounds like a great dig spot. Built in 1885, it had the bathroom added later. They are totally cool with me coming down and digging up any trash dumps or outhouses. They say the yard has been ravaged by varmints and I wouldn't be hurting anything by digging. They're older, so I'd help em with fixing the place up for the privledge of digging. Of course I'd share some of the bottles too.
So, how do I go about finding where the outhouse or trash dump was? Will I need anything other than a shovel and hand trowl? Is it important to reinforce a deep(ish) hole to prevent cave ins? What are "fair" ways to divvy up bottles? I can't imagine they won't get excited and want to help. Answers to these questions and any other help you can offer would be awesome. Of course I'll post pics if I find anything.
thx again,
Paul
