has anyone seen this otto of rose?

i dug this in a huge dump in oakland california. no one i know has seen one of these. anybody here familiar with it?

An attractive but Fairly common lid, believed to have been used by Maws/S.Maw son & Thompson.

common? ive seen a square type but not the round one. are these common in east coast sites? overseas? oh well. i still like it. it was the only one i heard of dug there. many cherry tooth paste lids were dug. i dug both, which were on my want list.

This lid is relatively common in Australia and I would assume the UK. There should be an English diamond registration mark on the underside of the lid which you can date the lid from. What brands werte on your other toothpaste lids.
