Hello, I went digging a few weeks back and found what I believe to be a fruit jar. I can't find any embossing just an "X" on the bottom. Does this have any value? Just curious. Thanks!

Hi DiggerBryan
Your jar is a wax sealer. The RB lists a #3054 as having one BIG X and it says $10-15. I LOVE the applied mouth on your jar. See how it just kind of droops down on the left side of the pic? GREAT! I would guess 1870's jar for sure.

Thanks for sharing the pic. Good luck in your digging.

Hello Paul, Thanks for the information I really appreciate it. I've been doing a lot of digging and keep finding a lot of broken tops to wax sealers and whole ball, atlas also. I haven't brought them home from the dump yet but I will post some more pictures once I do. Thanks again!
