Eight years on & there still isn't a lot of information available online about this bottle. However,I have managed to identify it a little. From various websites: "In 1978 a technical assistance agreement was entered into with Galot Industries Ltd., Nairobi, Kenya for setting up a distillery and glass bottle making factory in that country. A new company under the name Mohan Meakin Kenya Ltd., was registered in Nairobi.Approval of the Indian Government was received to invest up to 20% of the equity capital amounting to Rs.8 lakhs in the Kenya company."

"Mohan Meakin also has a plant setup in Kenya. They manufacture and bottle alcohol. A very catchy brand is the Afrika Safari Whisky where the bottle is in the shape of the African Continent."

"This rather obscure bottle was produced by Mohan Meakin Kenya Ltd. in 1989.

Afrika Safari is a blended whisky presented in a bottle the shape of the continent."

The markings on the bottle are different.Whether that makes it older than the pictured one or not is anyones guess.
