A "western" Bromo-Seltzer?

Here is a common bromo-seltzer but this one has a western label. It is 1/2 full of the original contents which looks like yellow fish tank gravel. The label reads GUM MASTIC / PUT UP BY / COFFIN-REDDINGTON CO. / WHOLESALE DRUGGISTS / SAN FRANCISCO

I've never seen a lid for one of these before this so between that and the "western" label, this is one of my favorite medicine bottles in my collection. This one stands 6 1/2 inches tall.

Anyone else have a labeled bromo? I'd like to see pictures if you do.

That bottle was reused for the gum mastic. Gum mastic was used by pharmacists to try and make oral meds taste better. Bromo seltzer usually is a white powder.

It is a very nice piece. Shows how resourceful they could be.
