One thing I have always wondered about was what year it was that the first sixteen ounce bottle was distributed . Did they have them in the thirties ? What ever year it is , that is one great label .

i would wonder if the label is original to the bottle. shouldn't there be a shoulder label as well ?

There may have been a neck label at one time, but this is a paper label bottle, not an acl. Many paper label bottles are found without their neck labels, or partial neck labels remaining. EXAMPLE photo below...

Epackage -- no "Peppy' nick names in your Indians list, so I took it a step further and tried to find a player on any other team with that nickname, and came up zero.

LC -- I have a 16 ounce 1920's paper label ginger ale bottle, so they go back at least that far.

I don't see anything on Peppy Boy Distributing either...
